NICE INFLOW AT THIS POINT
START TO HEAR HAIL HITTING JOE’S BARN JUST TO MY S AND DECIDE TO RELOCATE.
NOW 1W OF OKARCHE LOOKING BACK SW.
I’VE DROVE TOO FAR EAST SO I’M HEADING BACK WEST TO GET A CLOSER LOOK.
NOW 1.25 W LOOKING STRAIGHT SOUTH AND THIS LOOKS CLOSE ENUF.
IF YOU LOOK REAL CLOSE YOU CAN SEE THE FUNNEL STARTING TO FORM.
MUCH MORE VISIBLE HERE.
THE FUNNEL DOES NOT APPEAR TO REACH THE GROUND, BUT HANK BAKER,
CHANNEL 4 CHASER, HAS AN IMAGE THAT SHOWS THE DEBRIS CLOUD TO THE GROUND FROM
HWY 3 & 81 JCT AREA LOOKING WNW.
A LITTLE CLOSER LOOK
AND NOW EVEN CLOSER.
AND YES, EVEN CLOSER.
THE SIRENS ARE BLOWING IN OKARCHE AND RICH IS SO INTO THE GAME HE
THINKS THE ST. JOES CLOCK KEEPER IS JUST GOING A LITTLE HEAVY ON THE
SUBSTITUTION BUZZER
NOW BEGINNING TO LIFT AND GETTING SMALLER.
IT STARTS TO RAIN HARD AND I’M ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE STORM BUT
CLOSE TO A TV FOR THE 2ND HALF.
I DON’T THINK YOU’LL SEE ME WITH MANY TORNADO PICS FROM THE NORTH SIDE
OF THE STORM LOOKING SOUTH, BECAUSE THAT’S USUALLY THE HAIL SIDE OF THE
STORM. BUT THIS TIME I DIDN’T WANT TO
GET TOO FAR AWAY AND MISS THE 2ND HALF OF OSU/ST. JOE’S. THE ENTIRE CHASE PROBABLY LASTED 20 MINUTES
AND 8 MILES.
