TORNADO NEAR EL RENO, OK AIRPORT
I TOOK OFF THE AFTERNOON THINKING IT WOULD BE DECENT BUT DIDN’T FALL IN LOVE WITH ANY OF THE EARLY STORMS. AROUND 5:30 NEW STORMS FORMED TO OUR SW AND APPEARED TO BE MORE DISCRETE. I FELT ONE OF THESE STORMS WOULD BE THE EVENT OF THE DAY. CALLED RICH AND WE HEADED SOUTH ON HWY 81. WE GAVE UP ON THE GRADY COUNTY STORM AND QUICKLY TURNED OUR ATTENTION TO THE STORM IN WESTERN CANADIAN COUNTY.
