RICH & I WORKED TILL 5:00, THEN TARGETED THE MANGUM AREA.  AFTER PASSING THRU CLINTON, WE STILL COULDN’T EVEN SEE THE MANGUM STORM YET AND THE ONE BY CANUTE/FOSS WAS GRABBING OUR ATTENTION QUICKLY.  WE TOOK OUR 1st SHOTS JUST N OF FOSS.

A CLOSER VIEW, BUT POOR FORMATION.

A COUPLE OF OTHER VIEWS A FEW MINUTES LATER.

THE CIRCULATION IS NOW AT IT’S BEST BUT NO LOWERING NOW.

THEN THE 1-INCH HAIL CAME (SEE WHITE BLUR JUST TO THE RIGHT OF THE CENTER BETWEEN FENCE POSTS).

SO WE DECIDE TO RELOCATE S OF FOSS.

WE CONTINUED TO WATCH NEW AREAS OF CIRCULATION.

IT WASN’T LONG AND THE LINE FILLED IN AND SQUAWALLED OUT AS IT GOT BLACK DIRECTLY ABOVE US.  THIS PRETTY MUCH ENDED OUR DAY.

ALL OF THE ABOVE ARE IMAGES FROM THE CAMCORDER AND BELOW ARE A FEW FROM THE DIGITAL CAMERA.

FINISH OFF WITH A SUNSET SHOT W OF THOMAS.

AND A LIGHTNING SHOT OR TWO FOR THE ROAD.

WE WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND OUR APPRECIATION TO ERIC HELT FOR HIS EXCELLENT JOB OF NOWCASTING.
